Advanced Dental Care with a Soft Touch..

A year ago my periodontist wanted to pull 2 of my 4 front teeth and give me implants. I had been through extensive, expensive periodontal work and had mobility in many of my teeth. Thank God, I found Dr. McGonigle through a co-worker. A year later, my teeth are stable and are not “hopeless”. With help from her and her compassionate, knowledgeable staff, I am able to keep my own teeth. Dr. McGonigle aligned my bite because she considers the entire mouth. Most dentists take care of one tooth at a time as need be, which is why I was in the shape I was. My teeth didn’t come together and caused trauma with every bite I took. Now my mobility has decreased significantly because Dr. McGonigle was able to shape my teeth and crowns to work together. She obviously continues to educate herself and her staff. Since the first visit I have not have any pain, or my usual panic, and now actually enjoy going to her office. Lisa and Loreen are also the best hygienists you could ever hope to go to. They are thorough, pain-free, and will also let you know what you can do to help your teeth. I can not say enough good things about everyone in the office and how they treat you as a patient and a person. Don’t let dental insurance dictate who you should go to. You have one set of teeth and you need to go to the best, and that is Dr. McGonigle.

Taking the opportunity to let all of you know just how grateful I am to be a patient in your practice. From the day I first walked through the door, everyone has been so kind, funny, and, well, then there’s the excellent dentistry. It is wonderful to have found a dentist who is so proactive in dealing with my dental health. I have always had bite problems, but all any of my previous dentists ever asked me was if I minded that my teeth were crooked. When I said “no” they dropped the subject. Until Dr. McGonigle explained to me that I had bite problems, too, and that my teeth were wearing down abnormally fast, I had no idea it was more than a cosmetic issue. She worked closely with me and the orthodontist to correct the problem as much as possible, and kept looking for ways to correct my bite even after my braces came off. My husband and I also appreciate the way Dr. McGonigle and her staff stay informed on the latest information and techniques in dental care, as well as maintain a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the office. We always feel like we’ve been taken very good care of by everyone there. It makes it much easier and less stressful to go in to see the dentist on a regular basis.

During my many procedures over the years, Carol has informed me about the latest dental innovations that you incorporate and has included me in the decision-making process. Each procedure was evaluated as to whether it would be appropriate, affordable, and timely for me. The stunning results have meant not only perfect dental health for me, but a huge improvement in my looks as well. Hard for some to believe, but I look forward to my office visits. I know they will greet me with great enthusiasm, keep me informed about all of the great new possibilities in the dental world, AND take wonderful care of me. Carol has been my dentist for 20 years. Prior to Carol, I had good dentists and I had bad dentists. I could never go to the dentist without much apprehension!
